Ishel Jean Noel (violin)

17-year-old Ishel Jean Noel was born in Marmelade, a small mountain town in the north of Haiti, where, thanks to the vision and foresight of former Haitian president, René Préval, there has been a music school for over a decade. Ishel was a BLUME Haiti scholarship student at several music camps in Haiti and, as a 12-year-old, he had the opportunity to go to the states for 2 months to study violin.

A participant in the 2017 and 2018 Haitian orchestra Institute, thanks to the support of BLUE Haiti, The Musicians of the Utah Symphony and many others, Ishel was able to attend several American music camps (Interlochen and Credo) and, in 2019, he had the amazing opportunity to go to France where he is currently a scholarship student at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory in Aix en Provence. Ishel is in his second year of study there and will soon graduate from high school. After that, the future is his!
